Hutto ISD, Inspiring Excellence

Hutto ISD offers quality education to more than 9,000 students across 12 campuses, with enrollment growing by more than 400 additional students each year. This innovative school district provides numerous educational opportunities, including Early College and a Career and Technical education program.

The district offers award-winning academic and extracurricular programs, including art, robotics, band, music, athletics, and the nationally recognized Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) program.

Higher Education

East Williamson County Higher Education Center

The East Williamson County Higher Education Center is an innovative multi-institutional teaching center located on 57 acres adjacent to SH-130. The center houses three institutions and provides a distinct blend of academic, technical, and workforce training. It is also conveniently located across the street from Innovation Business Park.

Temple College

Temple College-Hutto offers general academic classes, career and technical programs, health professions programs, and Dual Credit classes for high school students.

Texas A&M University-Central Texas

Part of Texas A&M University-Central Texas, this campus is a transfer institution offering upper-level coursework to students with 30 or more credit hours. It offers flexible and affordable degree options in Business, Psychology, Marketing, and Music/Fine Arts.

Texas State Technical College

Programs at TSTC-Hutto include Machining Technology, Industrial Systems, HVAC, Cyber Security, and Culinary Arts. TSTC works with Hutto businesses for customized staff development training.

Area Colleges & Universities

Hutto offers additional higher education opportunities within an easy commute, with colleges and universities offering everything from certificate and degree programs to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees in a variety of fields. Institutions include the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Southwestern University, Huston-Tillotson University, St. Edward’s University, and Austin Community College.
