Incentives And Funding

In Hutto, the City and the Hutto Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) remain steadfast at improving the economic opportunities and quality of life for all Hutto residents.

The HEDC, the State of Texas, and the United States Federal Government offer a variety of economic incentives to qualified companies wishing to relocate to or expand. Incentive agreements in Hutto are developed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to specific qualification criteria, conditions and performance requirements detailed within a formal incentive agreement.

To be eligible for an economic incentive, companies must complete a qualifying application. The Hutto Economic Development staff conducts an Economic Impact Analysis to assess the projected benefits the project will bring to the Hutto community. Based on this analysis, the staff will then prepare an Economic Incentive Proposal. All incentive agreements are subject to approval by the HEDC Board of Directors and Hutto City Council.
